Hurrican Ophelia....

And so I've made it through my first hurricane! I haven't had school since Monday. Tuesday was a waste, cause it was actually sunny. Then yesterday morning I woke up to the trees behind my house being bent sideways. Now these are not little trees, either. These are big pine trees. Jacksonville got hit pretty hard. Part of a new overpass they were building collapsed and downtown Swansboro, where I work, was under 4 feet of water last night. I don't think I ever want to see 75 mph winds again. Very scary. Luckily I only lost power for about 45 minutes, so I could sit and watch the updates all day long. I think we have school tomorrow, but I'm not sure.

I'm now headed to the doctor, cause I believe I may have strep. That's not how I want to spend the rest of the week.
